The following information should give you
an idea of what to expect when engaging in a project with Web Presence.
Q: How does a project get
started?
A: After an initial meeting
and upon review of your project timeline, requirements and budget,
Web Presence will deliver a Proposal with a cost estimate, project
outline, and timeline. Acceptance or modification of the Proposal
is followed by signing a Development Agreement which clearly explains
fees, timeline and deliverables. We get to work immediately after
signing this agreement.
Q: What happens if we are
not sure about our website or marketing needs and do not have a
requirements list?
A: Most clients do not have
complete lists of website contents or detailed marketing strategy
guidelines. We work with you to establish your purpose and the methodologies
to cost effectively accomplish this. During an initial meeting we
will create a list of materials that are needed to populate your
website, or create your marketing kit. In addition to making lists
of contents you need, we work with skilled writers, photographers
and designers to create contents when necessary.
Q: How many Web Presence
staff members will be assigned to my project?

5 people per project team including an account

database or other back-end programming will include one or more
programmers. Marketing projects include one or more marketing staff.
TV or radio production always includes our experienced producer.
Q: How will the communication
and review process work?
A: Web Presence builds and maintains
an online custom Client Project Site to facilitate the review and
approval process. The site includes all prototype mock-ups of graphic
designs, sample navigation and content mock-ups, and database mock-ups.
Simply look in your special area online and you can see the status
of your projects. We also use email extensively, and frequently
will email pdf versions for review of marketing materials.
Q: What if our business is
located in a different city than Web Presence?
A: Distance has not played a
factor in client communication. Most communication on a web development
project is conducted via email and phone. All mock-ups and deliverables
are viewed in web format via a browser. Generally, Web Presence
makes one to three on site visits during a two to three month project.
Many of Web Presence's most satisfied clients are out of town such
as James Devere in Sydney, Australia, Chateau Wally Films in Ojai,
California, and The Wine News, Adelaide, Australia.
