Jenifer
Levini, President and Chief Imagineer
The driving force and creative energy behind
Web Presence, Jenifer leveraged her marketing background while employed
by a website design firm in New York, and was one of first to integrate
marketing services that helped clients move beyond a simple web
presence, to develop communication techniques and drive traffic
to their sites. Since moving into the web development field in 1994,
she has contributed to innumerable websites both as an employee
at one of the first web development firms in the U.S. and later
after launching Web Presence. Her marketing credits include developing
a highly successful campaign for the SCUBA diving industry in Southern
California in the 1980's; setting up a new distribution channel
for Sea Studios in Monterey by introducing a marine biology education
program through the nationwide Elderhostel system; developing a
strategic marketing program for a subsidiary of the M&T Bank
chain in New York, among others. She has done inbound and outbound
marketing and marketing communication for large and small businesses,
non-profits, and gov't agencies. Additionally, Jenifer has worked
as an assistant editor and writes a monthly Internet column for
a business magazine. Her education includes a Bachelor's degree
with Honors from University of California at Santa Cruz, a Masters
from San Francisco State and graduate studies at Cornell University.
A highly involved community member and respected businesswoman,
Jenifer helped the Santa Rosa Junior College's Computer Department
pioneer their Web Developer Certificate Program. She founded and
was the first Chairperson of the Sonoma County Web Developers SIG;
graduate of Leadership Santa Rosa; President of the Board of Leadership
Santa Rosa Alumni Association; a SCORE/SBA (Service Corp of Retired
Executives/Small Business Administration) advisor for an annual
E-Business Conference, steering committee member at Santa Rosa Chamber
of Commerce, director for Caring Strangers; and is a volunteer at
Madrone Elementary School. Jenifer is also a member of Univ. Calif.,
Santa Cruz Alumni Association and a prospective student interviewer
for Cornell University.
Graphic Design Department
Gordon Smith
After a fifteen year career as an Art Director
for major magazines, including winning several Western Publications
Assn. Maggie Awards, Gordon decided to get out of the rat race and
enter the burgeoning field of web design in 1994. After perfecting
his skills including Quark, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Acrobat, Frame
Maker, Flash, Illustrator, and Power Point, he joined Web Presence
in 1997. He still loves print and projects that include 4c publication
skills, logo design, trade-show booth design, and the full spectrum
of pre-press design.
Kurt West
Kurt received formal training in Graphic
Communication at California State University, Chico. His design
work has been recognized with awards including Northern California
Addy Awards and Sonoma County Ad Club Sadie Awards. With over 18
years experience in visualizing information, Kurt has the unique
ability to create campaigns, packaging, websites, and power point
presentations, that convey the gestalt as well as the message. A
strong believer in giving back to his community, he is assisting
the Sonoma County Housing Coalition promote low income housing projects
in the county, and helps Sonoma Land Trust preserve open space through
funding and informational campaigns.
Verónica Biscay
In the heart of Córdoba, Argentina, Verónica
finds that being geographically far away inspires her design work
and the Internet brings the world into her studio. She gained local
and international recognition for her designs which include logos,
book covers, websites, and magazine layouts. She believes that well-done
designs tell as much as words. For that she want to create designs
which titillate new sensations. Being multi-lingual she adds a dash
of Latin spice to the design offerings at Web Presence.

Programming & Database Department
Robert Mandel
With a BA in Physics and Mathematics from
Boston University, a Master's Degree from Humboldt State and fifteen
years professional programming experience Bob brings expertise in
VB Programming, GIS Programming (ArcView/ArcIMS), Integrated dynamic
page content, ASP programming, Javascript/DHTML, JAVA, XML, and
legacy application integration. We haven't found anything Bob can't
do. But we'll keep trying.
Joe Najoukas
Formerly President of Grapevine Studios,
Joe realized that he loves the meticulous, methodical parts of making
complicated websites function. His accomplishments include, among
others, building a tremendous, intelligent database for the New
York Times Digital website, that tracks preferences of visitors
and creates custom experiences when they re-visit the site. Joe
is experienced with many e-commerce systems, and manages our Linux
web server.
Lilith (Paula) Schwindeman
Lilith, a graduate of the Web Certificate
Program at Santa Rosa Junior College, is our Jill-of-all-trades.
From HTML, to Javascript, PERL to graphic production and client
training, she is able to run with each assignment, making sure that
each project and the rest of us are on time and on budget.
Gaurav Agarwal
Armed with a Bachelors in Computer Science
from University of Allahabad, India, Gaurav has quickly proved to
be a programming treasure trove. He loves to create website automation
and specializes in php programming.

Leonardo & Gustavo
De Giacomi
When IBM Latin America downsized, Leonardo,
former Global Services Customer Satisfaction Latin America South
Manager, and Gustavo, former Technical Education Manager, decided
to bring their 10+ years writing expertise gained in the Fortune
100 trenches to a broader audience. Native Spanish speakers, both
earned bachelors and masters degrees from prestigious Latin American
universities. They appreciate the different flavors of Spanish spoken
in each Central and South America and European country and provide
translations that will be understood by the intended target audience.

Training/Policy Department
Stephen Jackson
Stephen has been doing computer training
for the past 5 years on both PC's and Mac's. He currently teaching
several computer courses focusing on applications and strategies
for increasing productivity with computers. He is a California Credentialed
teacher with 10 years of teaching experience with a Bachelors degree
in Agri-Business and a Masters degree in Education. Jackson offers
both business and marketing consulting as well as computer training
services.
Nick Tipon
Nick brings twenty-five years of classroom teaching experience.
His expertise includes development of network and Internet policies
to ensure appropriate uses of the technology. Other experience includes
coordinating plans for implementing technology and networks in large,
medium, and small companies and gov't agencies. If your organization
intends to move strongly into the Internet environment it's important
to have policies in place.

Marketing Department
Lisa Henry
Lisa Henry, a Sonoma County native, was
born to be in marketing. She brings over six-years television production,
as well as non-profit outreach campaign expertise from her previous
position as KRCB auction manager. Lisa managed and directed one
of the largest fundraising events in the North Bay, the KRCB Auction
22! Raising well over one million dollars, she successfully executed
a multifaceted promotion campaign with a budget of $0, and a staff
of three, three times per year. Using the strong relationships she
built with local, national and international businesses she successfully
procured over $300,000 in goods and services each year, in exchange
for a brief mention on the televised auction, pre-auction direct
mail pieces and advertisements. She arranged and produced all local
television, cable, radio and print promotions including fantastic
media placement such as the cover of the Press Democrat TV Week
booklet the weekend before the event every year, prime-time cable
ad slots and drive-time radio ad slots, and extremely creative outreach
promotion, for example on Food 4 Less grocery bags (again produced
in house) for 2 weeks prior to each event. Lisa managed a direct
mail campaign with 100,000+ database of buyers, donors and volunteers.
To pull off this incredible feat, year after year, she recruited
and retained a volunteer force of over 100 people who happily return
every year.
Alyson
Dutch
With more than fifteen years of in-house
and agency publicity and promotional experience, Alyson Dutch has
provided successful public relations and promotion to clients in
corporate arenas, the music industry, personalities, tourism, the
arts, special events, television production, film distribution,
fashion and beauty. Notable clients have included hospitality giants,
Rio Hotel, Las Vegas and Host Marriott Services; healthcare provider,
FHP Healthcare; Mike Love's Club Kokomo theme restaurant; the music
industry's Platinum Records' artist Kali Kornas well as The Beach
Boys.
Alyson served as head of Baker/Winokur/Ryder's international entertainment
division from 1993-96. As such, she oversaw an assortment of clients
that include Sun International, the worlds third largest resort/casino
conglomerate and owners of famed Sun City and Sowetan musical artist/composer
Lebo M, who received a Grammy for his arrangement of "The Lion
King" soundtrack. Her clientele has also included the Chaka
Khan/Ladysmith Black Mambazo Tour in South Africa; the Southwest
Museum; the Jamaica Film and Entertainment Commission; America Online's
"Zima Talk;" Colin Cowie; Catherine Bach, star of the
Family Channel's "African Skies," show on location South
Afrca; Global Partners/ Amy Biehl Foundation's South African Ballot
Campaign; the Telephone Entertainment Network; the Hard Rock Café
in Cabo San Lucas; Mike Love of The Beach Boys; and, KIIS-FM, Los
Angeles' #1 radio station.
As manager of public relations at Madison Square Garden Event Productions
for five and one half years, she generated publicity and promotions
for three major network television specials each year, oversaw two
outside PR agencies and created an updated image for the corporation.
During her tenure, Dutch consulted on location in Bangkok, Thailand,
Taipei, Republic of China, Cancun, Mexico and across the United
States, producing a valuable contact base and understanding of international
and domestic public relations. In 1996 Dutch received a Los Angeles
Area Emmy Award for her participation in the production of a documentary
titled, "Suicide: A Teenage Dilemma."
