Rosa, September 17, 2002 - Web Presence announces the launch of the
Sonoma County Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Commission
(JJC) website at www.juvenilejusticecommission.org.
The JJC performs the admirable task of overseeing/inspecting approximately
45 juvenile group homes and detention facilities. To accomplish this,
large amount of paperwork are created and shared between 15 commissioners,
a superior court judge, the probation department and the Sonoma County
Supervisors. The website substantially reduces the amount of printed
and copied paperwork and data entry, while increasing availability
of information.
The website has four levels of security, allowing document-specific access to group homes, commissioners, the general public or site administrators. Two built-in databases manage the site information and are easily updated by the commission staff, substantially reducing or eliminating website maintenance costs.
